For whom is life coaching?
A life coaching session is about various topics like for example ‘how can I get rid of my negative thoughts’ or ‘I am thinking too much, how can I stop this’. It is holistic therapy which is good for stress management, a more positive mind-set and deep relaxation.
A session lasts 1 hour and consists of 3 topics: Cognitive behavioural therapy, Meditation and Reiki therapy. Because each of these topics is about half an hour, the best is choose 2 of them.
Cognitive behavioural therapy
CBT is a method of psychotherapeutic treatment founded on the idea that by changing the way a person thinks you can change the way he/she behaves. In a CBT session the therapist analyzes your thought patterns based on interview questions. Then the therapist asks you to search for alternative positive thoughts. The therapist may give you suggestions for replacing specific unsupportive thoughts with those that can make you feel better. The purpose of Cognitive behavioural therapy is changing the way of thinking by creating more positive thoughts.

For meditation a mind- set tool for wellness is used from the yoga namely Pratyahara. This technique consists of breaking through existing thoughts, distraction of the mind and feeling more positive feelings.
A reiki treatment is most effective at the end of a life coaching session and is at least half an hour. The purpose of a reiki healing in a life coaching session is to reinforce the positive thinking of cognitive behavioural therapy and to reinforce more positive feelings of meditation.
